A selection of the harsh terrain of Southern Europe
Southern Europe's high temperatures and challenging terrain have been chosen for testing the upcoming electric vehicle EVX. The region provides an ideal environment to pursue development stages, which is important for electric vehicles such as EVX, as extreme temperatures can significantly impact battery performance and overall range.
Design predictable even after heavy camouflage
Despite the heavily camouflaged exterior of the test unit for the Maruti Suzuki EVX, it is possible to make guesses about its core design. Following the popularity of Suzuki's S-Cross model, the EVX is expected to be a compact SUV, but with an electric twist. Both the vehicles are likely to have similar dimensions, which will meet the needs of the customers along with being environment friendly.

The hope of a tech-savvy interior
While there is no glimpse of the interior yet, experts are expecting a digital and connected cabin in the Maruti Suzuki eVX. Expectations are high thanks to the two major screens on the dashboard – one model functions as the instrument cluster and the other primarily for the infotainment system. These modern features are aimed at enhancing the driving experience and bringing the latest technology in the automotive industry.
Propulsion System and Range
As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the electric propulsion system of the eVX. However, the previously showcased Suzuki eVX concept featured a robust 60 kWh lithium-ion battery, claiming a remarkable range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge as per the Indian MIDC cycle. This demonstrates the ability of EVX to provide an efficient, eco-friendly driving experience, free from conventional petrol or diesel engines.
Maruti Suzuki eVX is eagerly awaited
The excitement has increased for enthusiasts who are eagerly awaiting the launch of the Maruti Suzuki EVX in the European market, scheduled for the upcoming year. However, Indian consumers may need to be a little more patient, as the arrival of the eVX in Indian dealerships is expected to take place by 2025.
Maruti Suzuki's EVX has been a topic of anticipation since the EVX concept was showcased at the Auto Expo 2022. While the actual model might not differ dramatically from the concept model, expectations for significant changes are high. Since the actual model of the EVX is still some time away from being unveiled, there is ample scope for things to evolve, bringing a mix of innovation and excitement to the electric vehicle landscape.
