Chandrayaan 3 Mission: ISRO Prepares for Mission to the Moon

ISRO has announced the readiness of the Chandrayaan 3 mission, a significant space exploration mission for India. Chandrayaan 3 has been integrated with the LVM3 rocket at the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. According to ISRO, the mission is set to launch between July 13 and July 19 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center on the coast of Andhra Pradesh, India, with a potential launch date of July 13.

Chandrayaan 3 mission is important for India

Chandrayaan 3 is a crucial mission for India, following the previous two Chandrayaan missions. Earlier this year, Chandrayaan 3 successfully completed necessary tests for the spacecraft's launch, demonstrating its capability to withstand the rigors of launch and space conditions.

Chandrayaan 3 is being sent to complete the unfinished mission of Chandrayaan 2, which had encountered a mishap during its final phase as it collided with the lunar surface at high speed, resulting in a loss of contact with ISRO.

Instruments will carry This mission

This mission will carry instruments to study the thermophysical properties of lunar regolith, lunar seismology, lunar plasma environment, and the fundamental structure of the moon. Chandrayaan 3 consists of a lander, rover, and a propulsion module with a spectropolarimetric payload that will study Earth's mineralogical and polarimetry properties. The propulsion module will transport the lander and rover to a distance of up to 100 kilometers from the lunar surface.

After safe landing rover will out form the lander

After safely landing on the lunar surface, the rover will emerge from the lander and explore the lunar terrain, studying the moon's surface, environment, and other critical data. This mission is expected to be a significant achievement for India in the field of space exploration.

Chandrayaan 3 aims to contribute valuable insights to lunar science and enhance India's capabilities in space research and technology.
