In a tragic incident on the Jaipur-Express train in Palghar, Maharashtra, there was rapid firing resulting in the unfortunate deaths of four people due to bullet injuries. The accused constable responsible for the shooting has been apprehended near Mira Road. Reports indicate that the constable was under mental stress at the time.
The incident occurred in the B5 coach of the Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express train (train number 12956) at 5.23 am. The train departs from Jaipur Junction at 2 a.m. and reaches Mumbai Central at 6.55 AM

The accident happened after a dispute between 2 soldiers
The firing was triggered by a dispute between two soldiers, Chetan and Tilak Ram, onboard the train. Following an altercation with his senior, Chetan opened fire, causing panic among passengers, some of whom even jumped from the train to escape the chaos.
ASI lost his life
Among the four people who tragically lost their lives, one was an ASI (Assistant Sub-Inspector) named Tilak Ram, and the other three were passengers. However, the exact motive behind the firing is yet to be determined. The authorities are investigating the incident to gather more information.
