ICC World Cup 2023 schedule, Tournament Venues and India schedule for World Cup 2023

ICC World Cup 2023 schedule has released for the Men's Cricket World Cup 2023. First and final match of the tournament :

The opening match of the tournament will be held on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and the final will also be played here.


Semifinal match:

The first semi-final will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and the second semi-final will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.


Tournament Venues:

The tournament matches will be played in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata, while warm-up matches will also be held in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.


Round-Robin Format:

The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held in a round-robin format, where each of the ten teams will face each other once. After this intensive stage, the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, and the winners of these semi-finals will play a major match in the final.

For the World Cup 2023, ICC has given all the teams time till September 28 to make any changes in the team, after that any change will have to be approved by ICC.

India schedule for World Cup 2023:

India will start their campaign against defending champions Australia in Chennai on October 8. India's journey will later continue with matches against Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, Qualifier 2, South Africa and Qualifier 1.

The grand finale will be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 19th November. Note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change; The ICC will provide the final, official schedule near the start of the tournament.
