On behalf of Sri Lanka, Charith Asalanka (49*) played a brilliant innings and led his team to victory.
The entire match remained in a romantic situation, sometimes the tide was in Sri Lanka's favor and sometimes it was in Pakistan's favor. Shaheen Afridi, who was bowling the last over for Pakistan, almost gave victory to his team with his bowling but Asalanka hit a four on one of the last two balls and took two runs in the last ball to give victory to Sri Lanka.
First innings :
Fakhar Zaman, who came to bat for Pakistan, was dismissed by Pramod Madushan for only 4 runs. But from the other side, Pakistan's second opener Abdullah Shafique took charge of the innings and scored 52 runs in 69 balls.
Mohammad Rizwan scored the maximum runs for Pakistan, he scored unbeaten 86 runs in 73 balls, which included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 47 runs in 40 deliveries and Babar Azam scored 29 runs in 35 balls.

Second innings:
Kusal Perera started the chase of 252 runs with a bang for Northern Sri Lankan team but due to a mistake, he got run out and went to the pavilion. Pathum Nissanka (29 runs) maintained the other end for some time. Kusal Mendis played an incredible innings for Sri Lanka, he scored 91 runs in 87 balls which included 8 fours and 1 six.
Samarawickrama played his role in the victory by playing an innings of 48 runs. On one hand, Sri Lanka's wickets were falling, while on the other hand, Charith Asalanka maintained her composure and led her team to victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 49* runs in a game that swung like a pendulum.
Pakistan fought hard and Shaheen Shah Afridi almost gave them victory by bowling brilliantly in the last over, but Charith Asalanka remained patient and led his team to victory.
For Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed, took 3 wickets and Shaheen Afridi, took 2 wickets, while Shadab Khan got 1 wicket.
