Terrorist attack in Pakistan, attackers entered Mianwali airbase and set several aircraft on fire

Islamabad, Pakistan : This morning, a group of  attackers launched a major terrorist attack in, Pakistan. Attackers entered Mianwali AirBase and set several aircraft on fire. Reports indicate that intense gunfire is ongoing throughout the region.

Pakistani journalists have shared reports and videos, indicating that unidentified armed assailants targeted the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) base. This news has been rapidly circulating on social media, with images and videos of the attack being uploaded on a large scale.

According to social media reports, a group of five to six individuals heavily armed with weapons entered the Mianwali Air Base early in the morning, initiating indiscriminate gunfire and setting several aircraft on fire. However, according to the PAF, they thwarted the attack even before the terrorists managed to infiltrate the airbase. Reports suggest that the attackers destroyed several aircraft inside the airbase.

As of now, the entire area is being evacuated, and a search operation is in progress. Responsibility for this terrorist attack has been claimed by the Pakistani militant group Tehrik-e-Jihad Pakistan (TJP). Photos and videos of the attack are being uploaded on social media on a large scale, but their authenticity cannot be confirmed at this time.
